Dogs and flowers are one of my favorite combinations. Orange County photographer, Holly Sigafoos, took these photos of her Pit bulls, Farrah and Laney. Bleudog Florals created the lovely floral arrangements.
From Holly: “I rescued Farrah (the white pit bull) right after losing my sweet dog. Farrah came at just the right time. It was three months before I was about to be married, and about to start a whole new life. When my husband and I went to see her, she was the smallest dog who was running behind all of her brothers and sisters. Farrah was my husband’s first-ever dog. He learned quickly how much joy a dog can bring to one’s life.
A year after being married, my husband and I felt it was time for a friend for our sweet pup. Even after three walks a day a multiple time playing Farrah kept moping around the house. It was obvious that the once a week play dates with the neighbor dogs would not suffice.
One night I was having trouble sleeping. I decided to use my time searching through Instagram posts. Only to find a little puppy who was found in an in – n – out dumpster by an old coworker of mine. At that moment, I knew that was the dog we were to have. After much excitement, we went to meet the rescue pup. She was severely malnourished, yet so happy. That little rescue pup is now a 75-pound Pitbull mix that we love, named Laney.
Even though they are often misunderstood, I’ve always loved pit bulls. If you’ve ever had one or been to my house, you’d quickly find out how kind and loving they could be.”

Ah, so sweet that Farrah found a loving family and then it grew to include Laney! These pups are so very sweet and their eyes tell you that their souls (and wiggly bodies) are so very full of love. Adorable!
