Few relationships are as uncomplicated as the one between a dog and the person who loves her. So many of us consider our dogs to be family, best friends, copilots, and soul mates. Tampa photographer, Devon Tabor, photographed Emiline, the Chocolate Labrador Retriever, and her favorite human, Rebecca. 
From Devon: “Emiline, Em or Emmie for short, is Rebecca’s Chocolate Lab she adopted from South Alabama! Emmie is a playful, fun-loving, energetic Lab that loves her mama as much as her stuffed moose toy – and that’s saying A LOT. 
Emmie is one year old and following Rebecca to St. Augustine, FL, for Grad School.”
From Rebecca: “Emeline (Emmie) is a chocolate lab that is just over a year old, and she is the goofiest, spunkiest, sweetest pup around. She has brought so much light and laughter into my life, and I could not imagine life without her.
She definitely keeps me entertained with her derpy personality, which is perfectly captured in these photos. Emeline loves to play fetch, chew bones and will do anything for a treat. She is, without a doubt, my best friend. Emmie joined the family in May of 2018. My mom and I traveled all the way to Alabama to pick her up from the private breeder.
We wanted to give her a sweet southern name to represent the area where she came from.”
