Vinny the Japanese Chin might just be the cutest thing you see today! He joined his humans, Alyssa and Pat, for their fall engagement session with Autumn Howell Photography.
From Autumn: “Alyssa and Pat were introduced by a mutual friend, who had been trying to set them up for over a year. After their first date, they didn’t want the night to end, and the rest has been history. They brought Vinny, their Japanese Chin puppy was 10 months old in these photos. After Pat proposed, Alyssa knew it was important that Vinny be a part of their engagement session, and I was delighted to include him.”From Alyssa: “Vinny is a one-year-old Japanese Chin. Pat’s family (my fiancé) had multiple rescue dogs over the years. Two of their rescue dogs quickly became our ‘heart’ dogs. They were both Japanese Chin dogs, and both passed away within a month of each other unexpectedly. We were heartbroken, but that immediately started our search for our very own Japanese Chin. We ended up driving 13 hours to pick him up and left with this little four pounds of pure fluff that we now call Vinny.
He’s a complete goofball. Chins are known to be a ‘catlike’ breed. You can often find him perched on stairs or the back of the couch watching the world go by. He thinks he’s a big dog and only likes to play rough with the big dogs in the neighborhood. Vinny is a very investigative dog but still thinks all dogs were put on this earth to play with him and all humans to give him attention.
He starts screaming, singing, and howling if you ask him if he wants to go on a walk. When Vinny gets excited, he starts smacking the ground and runs circles around you. He is the king of the ‘chin spins,’ which is a hilarious breed known thing they do. Definitely worth a google search if you want a good laugh.
Vinny has brought a whole new light to our lives that we wouldn’t ever want to go another day without him. We couldn’t imagine engagement pictures without him in a couple of them! Vinny is the best part of us.”
