A dog might not know when her birthday or gotcha day is, but she is going to enjoy whatever a person does to celebrate it. Janet from Elska Productions threw a simple, but lovely, mini party for her Irish Wolfhound, Spaghetti. 
From Janet: “This is my Irish Wolfhound, Spaghetti, she just turned one on October 17th. As a photographer, I thought it would be fun to put together a little cake smash photo session for her. Spaghetti is holding true to the Irish Wolfhound breed and is a big girl. She weighed in at almost 100lbs by eight months old and continues to climb. Tilly is our rescue from Freedom Dog Rescue. Tilly was happy to join the party for a while to celebrate her sister’s birthday.
Spaghetti will likely be anywhere from 150 to 170lbs and 7 feet tall on her hind legs when she is done growing. Don’t let her size fool you though; she thinks she is a lapdog. Her favorite thing to do is sit her bum on you; whether you are on a chair or couch, she likes to sit ON YOU, probably because she sees her fur siblings do it and maybe because her favorite thing is to have a good bum scratch!
Spaghetti also has her own Instagram account. She shares life from her perspective with everyone.”

Spaghetti is a fantastic name for a dog! My first dog will either be named Lemon or Melon, I haven’t quite decided yet. I just love the idea of naming pets after food though
Both of those names are cute! But if you get a collie, you better go with Lemon, we don’t want her to be a sad pup!

The post made me so, so, so happy. I just love wolfhounds. We are pretty sure one of our rescues is a wolfie mix, and once we realized that, I started falling in love with Wolf Hounds. They are so sweet, calm, and beautiful. Spaghetti is so pretty. I love her coloring.

Oh my gosh I LOVE Spaghetti, she is so beautiful! My sister had two Irish Wolfhounds …. in a Manhattan apartment! That’s when I first met the tallest dog breed and came to love them. These photos are so fun, Happy Birthday Spaghetti!!
