Dogs make everything better, and Mala, the Maltese-Shih Tzu mix, brought some extra cuteness to this lovely engagement shoot with Mel Schroeder Photography on Mount Falcon, near Morrison, Colorado.
From Mel: “When Lauren, Jeff, and I first connected, one of the first things they mentioned was including their pup Mala, and we had the best time featuring her in their Mount Falcon engagement shoot. She was the best dog (look that face!) and loved posing for the camera, especially when we asked if she wanted cookies! She walked her mom down the aisle, and I can’t wait to share those pictures!
Mala is a 13-year-old Maltese Shih-Tzu mix. She loves cookies, going on walks, snuggling on any blanket she can find, and playing with her beloved “purple toy.” Mala is the most loving, sweet soul that will do anything for a belly rub! She brings absolute joy and happiness to everyone she meets.
Mala came into Lauren’s life when she was a 19-year-old college student. Lauren used three different credit cards to be able to pay for her, but claims, to this day, it was the best money she ever spent. When Lauren met Jeff in 2020, she knew Mala would be the ultimate test of judgment. Needless to say, it was love at first sight— for all three of them!
Miss Mala performed her duties as flower girl and ring bearer in Lauren and Jeff’s August 2022 wedding. She is the best dog they could have ever asked for! “

Awww. Mala is so cute. I can totally relate to their story. I also have had my Maltese for the past 17 years and he was also the ultimate test of judgment when I met my husband.
