Piper, the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, is a huge part of Charlie and Corinne’s life. So much so that Charlie proposed to Corinne while they were walking Piper along the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He asked wedding and lifestyle photographer Amanda Macchia to capture the proposal and Corinne’s reaction. I think that Charlie and Corinne will always treasure these photos, especially the ones that Piper photobombed. (You’ll see them a little later.)
From Amanda: “Charlie knew exactly how he wanted to propose. He picked his and Corinne’s favorite area of the Charles River with a view of the city on their usual walk with their pup Piper from Cambridge to Boston. 
We had such a blast capturing this incredible moment and adventuring to the Boston Common for some couples photos, including champagne sprays, puppy love, and playful romps in the snow.”
From Charlie: “Piper came to us as an 8-week-old puppy in the fall of 2018. 
We first learned about her fun-loving personality because her tail would start wagging before her eyes would open in the morning. Her first shining moment was at a Halloween party, which also happened to be our two-year anniversary. Piper debuted as a vicious shark (one of us was an unlucky victim and the other a negligent lifeguard.)
Piper’s mom and I were introduced by a mutual friend in the summer of 2016 when Piper was just a twinkle in her own mother’s eye. We quickly hit it off and have never looked back since. We’ve since moved in together and gotten engaged, with Piper by our side at every turn.”
