Although lifestyle senior portraits for high schoolers are becoming increasingly popular, I don’t see enough college senior portraits! I love this dog-friendly grad session from Chelsy Yeater of Willow & Oak Photography. Kara brought along her small mixed breed, REMI, for photos at Stetson University in Deland, Florida.
From Chelsey: “Kara, the soon-to-be college graduate, and her cute little Yoshon (Yorkie and bichon mix) named REMI stole the show for this graduate session. This four-year-old cutie was such a charmer.
After I parked the car and walked towards the courtyard to meet the family, I noticed a student walking his big dog on the sidewalk. Then commenced the rapid barking as little REMI let everyone know who was in charge as he passed by. Ok, boss-lady, I thought. You go, girl!
That was the perfect ice-breaker to meet Kara, Bryson (her sweet boyfriend), and her parents, Todd and Traci. What a lovely family; they were dream clients. 
Kara told me that REMI loves attention and that her whole goal is for everyone to tell her how cute she is because she knows she’s cute. REMI is Kara’s little shadow and has been able to be on campus with her for three of the four years.
Attached to the hip, REMI has been through it all with Kara over the last three years. Kara truly adores her little sidekick. The entire family was super photogenic, including REMI, of course.”

This is such a great grad session. I need to do something like this when my daughter graduates. Only we only have a cat, ha.
I love that having your family pooch in pics is becoming a more trendy option, it always stinks when you can’t include the WHOLE family in important photo ops!
My son is a senior in high school this year and we would love to incorporate our dog in his photo session. So cute!

I love this! These photos are really stunning. A graduate photo, especially with your beloved pet, is such a great idea. These are the first grad photos w/ a pet that I’ve seen. Everyone should do it!
These are fabulous graduation photos! I absolutely love how Remi and Kara are joined at the hip. It’s such a unique idea to have graduation photos with your best furry buddy. But it’s perfect! Remi most likely helped Kara through those rough moments in the best ways. Terrific job!
