Roxy, the Corgi mix, joined her humans for a happy dog-friendly beach engagement session from misterdebs photography in San Diego.
From Debra: “Danielle and Frank are some of the most awesome people I’ve ever met. They really wanted to include their rescue dog, Roxy, in their engagement session, which made me so so so so so happy. I really believe that if you can, you definitely should include your furbabies when getting professional photos taken.
We started at the dog park on Coronado Beach. Roxy was a good girl and followed her humans closely. She was a little wary of other dogs, so she stuck close to her humans and waited for the tennis ball instead.
I asked Frank about Roxy’s adoption story. Frank said that one of his friends told him that Roxy was scheduled to be euthanized in 24 hours if no one adopted her. Of course, Roxy has a happy ending- Frank adopted her!!
Now Roxy lives with her favorite people, munches on veggies like broccoli and sweet potatoes, and chases after tennis balls.
We finished the engagement session at the ferry terminal, where you can see the San Diego skyline. Roxy stayed inside the car since she was sandy and wet and tired. Danielle, Frank, and I decided that we had to include sparklers cause…nothing says NYE like sparklers!”
From Danielle and Frank: “Roxy is a Corgi mix! She is 11 years old and is the sweetest ever. Although shy, she has lots of energy and will follow anyone who will play with her tennis balls.
Don’t let her short legs fool you, Roxy is FAST.
Her eyes are as big as her heart, and she has provided us with all the unconditional love we could have ever hoped for.”
