Katherine and Jonathan got engaged over the summer of 2018 in Greece! Jonathan planned a perfect proposal- red roses, a balcony overlooking all of Greece, had Katherine’s family present, and even Facetimed their pug, Louie, back home in the states. When it came time for their engagement photos with Tyler Boye Photography it just seemed right to include their pug, Louie.
From Katherine: “Louie is eight years old, and I got him while I was living in New York City when he was 12 weeks old. He is such a character– he loves to be dressed up, his favorite snack is peanut butter and strawberries.
Louie loves to take showers, and he finds it hilarious to interrupt any Zoom call or Facetime meeting I might have during the day! He travels everywhere with my husband and me and enjoys car rides probably more than most people! Louie is extremely sensitive to others and often comforts me during terrible migraines I get. Louie also takes care of his rescue kitty sister, Beatrice, who we found abandoned in the backyard as a baby.
He has an obsessive routine of licking his dad’s head, who often comes home after long days working in the military. Louie LOVES to have his picture taken as he is 100% a ham, and everyone who meets him says he is such a character, which is why almost everything in our home decor is ‘pug related.’
