From Alexandra: “What a beautiful summer night we captured for Hannah + Matt! They wanted an “iconic” downtown Minneapolis Engagement backdrop for their session. I love the area that we photographed in June is often the best time of the year in Minnesota for engagement photos simply because of the wonderful weather!
They brought along a bottle of champagne to kick off their wedding festivities, as well as their golden doodle puppy.
Minneapolis Engagement Photos with Pets are my favorite type of session. I just love the vibe and energy from this adorable couple!” From Hannah: “Watson recently turned three years old. He is a mini cockapoo, just under 20 pounds. He will happily make friends with any human but is shy around other pups. 
Watson is happiest when playing with his ball (preferably on the frozen pond in the winter). He is extremely food motivated and will always try to find ways to sneak food off of his humans’ plates!”

What a lovely family! These types of posts always make me wish my partner and I had done a photography session when we got engaged. Having our papillon there with us for the big moment made it all the more memorable.
Beautiful photos! My Henry is a rescue cockapoo. He would LOVE to play with Watson. It seems they share many of the same personality traits. I really love how this couple included their Watson in their engagement photos. They’re starting their life together off as a family. Lovely!
We didn’t really have an engagement as an event, but my now-husband did use an introduction to his dog as a vetting process for me. LOL Clearly, I passed.
