Cesar, the Basset Hound, joined his favorite humans for their engagement session with Christora from Green Apple Photography in Louisville, Kentucky.
From Christora: ” Big Rock Park is hidden in Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Although it isn’t the biggest rock in all of Louisville, it’s still pretty cool.
You can almost always find a dog running through the creek or passing by a cyclist at Big Rock Park. Big Rock Park is one of the original parks in Louisville that Frederick Law Olmstead designed.
Big Rock Park was the perfect location for Clayton and Morgan’s dog-friendly engagement session.
These two looked like models, and so did their cute Basset Hound. 
Cesar is an 8-year-old basset hound who came into Morgan and Clayton’s family unexpectedly. Never thinking he would become 50 pounds, the couple has loved watching him grow into a curious, albeit lazy pup. Their favorite thing about Cesar is when he barks; he only leaves his front feet, sending his floppy ears around his eyes, blinding him for a second.
In our opinion, an engagement session is always better when pups are included.
While they can’t include him on the big day, Cesar will be there in various ways. Including their cake topper – which will have his image on it!

This is one of the healthiest Basset Hounds I’ve seen. I adore the breed, but it breaks my heart when they have no legs to speak of and bodies that won’t allow a full life. So good to see one who can be happy.
