Happiness is a walk on the beach! Natalie from Landrum Photography found the perfect location for this dog-friendly engagement session, Honeymoon Island State Park. Although handsome dogs, Calvin and Tigger, stole the spotlight in many of the images, you can also see a lot of romantic pictures on Natalie’s blog.
From Natalie: “Cassandra and Chris’s engagement session was nothing but perfection – especially since their adorable furbabies attended! I cannot wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding this year!”
From Cassandra and Chris: “Calvin is three years old. I picked Calvin out from the Humane Society in Tampa at three months old. He was quite the handful as a puppy, very high energy, and very talkative. I raised Calvin alone, many chewed up shoes, hangers, and let’s not forget poop on the walls. Calvin gets along with every single dog he meets and only likes to snuggle on his terms. He loves water and is obsessed with tennis balls. Good luck getting him ever to drop it.
I adopted Tigger at about ten months old. His early life was tough. Tigger came from a local rescue who was treating him for his severe jaw conditions. Previous owners used Tigger as a bait dog. They poured acid down his throat and broke his jaw so he would not fight back. His fosters figured out that Tigger’s jaw had not healed properly. He was barely able to eat, and the extent of his injuries was large. He was rescued and adopted through Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Dog Rescue.
We have had many ups and downs with Tigger, and he is a work in progress every day. Tigger will sit on top of you if you let him, and he’s obsessed with cuddles. He snores so loud that he sounds like an old man.
Both of the boys have an amazing person who walks them in a pack every day for two hours.“

Such a beautiful couple and ADORABLE pups. I always love when couples choose to incorporate their furry friends into their engagement shoots <3
What a perfect location! Calvin and Tigger are super adorable and definitely stole the show, but everything about these photos is so great.
Aww these photos are heartwarming!! I teared up reading about poor Tigger’s history! Bless their humans for adopting them. What cute couple shots!!
I LOVE these photos so much! I adore that some couples love to make their pets a part of everything they do, and I also think a beach is a perfect location for engagement photos
These photos are breathtaking! The setting, her dress, and those adorable fur babies! Such great memories captured that they will have forever.
Super cute, and love the originality of their burlap bandana bow-ties!
Poor Tigger. What a horrible thing to do to an animal! I’m glad he’s got a loving family now. The pictures are lovely and the puppers look so cute in their custom bandanas.
I’m just glad he is happy and safe now!
