Jen from Emerald Moon Photography is a Boston and Worcester dog photographer, but that doesn’t stop her from capturing great portraits of kittens too! An adorable black and white kitten, Lil Shtz, showed off just how cute she can be in Jen’s studio.
From Jen: “Linda brought Lil Shtz home after the loss of her pup, Mama. We had a studio photo shoot to celebrate her new family member.”
From Linda: “Lil Shtz- Yes, that is her name. I rescued her at five weeks old ( two weeks before Mama passed away) Shtz imprinted herself on me. After losing Mama, she has been a godsend. She is named Lil Shtz because when she got older and bolder, she would run up to me, smack me in the face with her paw, and run away. This is her asking me to play ( no claws out).
As she got older, our bond grew, she meowed from another room, and I answered her, “I’m right here,” and she would come running. I am training her to come when called. She loves riding my jeep with me. She sits on my shoulder or the seat next to me. She is harness trained, so we can take her out to the beach. I am also trying to teach her to walk on the lead ( yes, it is challenging). She is a loving kitten. I think she has some dog in her.”

LOL, I love the name of this cutie pie! She reminds me of a sassy foster cat I had named Tux. He was very active and had the temperament of a dog as well. What a great photo shoot. My favorite is with Lil Shtz’s leg up on her side. Hilarious!
I love the name and she is just adorable, fantastic photos and she looks like a little mischief maker so her name suits her.
