I’m happy to say so many couples are including their dogs on their wedding days. As I’ve stated before when it comes to dogs, the more the merrier. Corgis Newman and Barley were part of their humans’ wedding day. Chris and Becca Photography took these photos.
From Becca (the photographer): “I’m so excited to share some images from a wedding that had two corgis participate! The couple has two adorable corgis that they were so excited to have been part of the wedding day, and the photos were too cute not to share.
Becca and Dorian were married in September 2019, and Barley and Newman, their two Corgis, were the guests of honor. They walked down the aisle with the Maid of Honor and Best Man, and Barley wore white flowers around her neck while Newman had a stylish little bow tie and collar.
Instead of tangible favors, they opted to make a donation to Odie’s Orchard Hill Rescue in Simsbury, CT (the town they were married in.)
At the time of the wedding, Barley was four, and Newman was six. The dogs also have their own Instagram @newmanthecorgi.”
From Becca (the bride): “These two are our babies and we knew we had to find a way to include them on our special day! Newman, named after Seinfeld, played the part of Ring Bearer and Barley, named after our love of craft beer, was our Flower Girl!”
