I believe that most of my readers want to make lives better for their own dog as well as dogs in general, particularly homeless dogs. I am really inspired by Nicole Begley who held a very successful fundraiser this summer: the second annual Food for Fido. Here are a few of the dogs that she photographed that day. Thanks to Nicole, the owners of these dogs were able to get some wonderful photos of their own dogs while helping other dogs not so fortunate!
From Nicole: “The second annual Food for Fido was held in mid-June and we had dogs being photographed throughout the day! Most of my sessions are held on-location in my clients home or at another location so this was a special day of mini-sessions in a studio setting. In the end we photographed over 20 dogs, raised about $400 for the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society and collected over 500 pounds of food!”
If you are interested in having a fund raiser to help you favorite charitable group, be sure to go to Hair of the Dog, where Nicole is sharing Tips for Running a Charitable Mini-Shoot Photography Event.
