Dogs need a lot of sleep! Although our dogs are free to use the furniture, they often choose their dog beds during the day. Since they spend a lot of time in their beds, finding a comfortable one for the dog is important. And since my dogs are usually in the same room as me, I want the bed to be visually appealing. The Nest bolster bed fits the bill for us! Thanks to Alice G Patterson Photography for the photos!

Theo needed a new bed, so after some careful research, I decided to get him a dog bed from Nest Bedding. He loves it!
With so many dog beds available, it is easy to get lost in all the choices. I know that Theo prefers a bolster bed (giving him a built-in pillow), so I narrowed my search. Next, I wanted it to be washable as well as sturdy. This bed is canvas, and it can stand up to Theo’s toenails, and is machine washable. (Hang to dry, though!)
I’ve been reading the Regeneration Magazine since I met the founder last summer. As a result, I’m more conscious of the steps I can take to decrease my carbon footprint and my dogs’ carbon pawprints. I was happy to learn that this bed contains 100% green recycled fill that is both breathable and non-absorbent. The Nest bed arrived in a cardboard box. There was no unnecessary plastic packaging, which made me feel pretty good too!
There are two more great reasons to get a Nest dog bed. It comes with a two-year warranty!
I love how it is cozy and doesn’t detract from the room. We’ve had some trendy dog beds that became eyesores when we redecorated.
Now that Theo has a Nest bolster bed, he prefers it to the sofa unless there is someone to snuggle with.
I bought a medium-sized Nest bolster bed for Theo, thinking that he and Nelly would curl up together in the winter. It gives him enough room to stretch out by himself, but he might have been okay with a small bed.

Now that bed looks comfy and when Layla will need a new one will look into it as at the moment she has too many but still sleeps under the covers with me LOL. I love the idea that it is made from recycled green waste.
I know someone who has one of these beds. Their big dog loves it and hangs out on it all the time
This is the first bed my dog has preferred to the sofa. He just loves it!
Oh you can just tell he’s comfy! The bed works really well with the room too. It sounds like a great choice!
That bed looks so comfy, and you’re right it doesn’t stand out like so many dog beds do it just blends right into the room. If it wasn’t for the dog I don’t think I would notice it.
That dog bed looks so comfortable. Plus, it’s so stylish and blends in perfectly with the room. I love it!
That bed looks comfy, I love your taste and style. That lamp is amazing and I want you to help me decorate! haha Seriously though everything is so beautiful, especially your dog!
This looks like a really comfy bed for dogs. I will check it out and probably get this brand when our dog’s current bed gets worn out. I have to check out the sizes of these Nest beds. We have a Shih Tzu who loves to snuggle.
Aww that is perfect to use. I think my dog will need this one too and seems he will be comfortable to sleep.
He looks like he is totally loving being snug in his bed! Heck, I almost want to crawl in there with him, it looks so cozy!
I think this is exactly the type of bed my dog would love. He likes to be able to squish into things and sort of dig around.
I really like how minimalist this bed looks. I think this is the perfect choice!
Looks like Theo is loving his bed. I like the simple look of that bed. And the color is great too. Great pick!
I know my dog would have gone head over heels for this. Shoot, I, myself, would love to lounge in this bed!
Nest sounds like an awesome dog bed brand! If my dogs didn’t already have SO many beds throughout our apartment, I’d look into getting one. I’ll keep them in mind for the future, enough though despite having 5 or 6 beds of their own, my dogs usually just relax on our bed or the couch.
Theo looks so comfy! I’ve never heard of Nest beds, but they sound great. Your photographs are stunning.
Oh wow, that absolutely looks like a nest! I’m curious whether Cookie would like that; she likes to stretch out.
They also have a bed that is not a bolster. It also has a two-year guarantee.
My doggie would love this bed! Well I think love love my bed more!
My cats could care less about cat beds. My mom’s dog, however, loves sleeping on a dog bed. Go figure!
I love that this bed is environmentally friendly. It looks SO comfortable. My parents bought my brother and sisters and I beanbags one Christmas. This reminds me of those.
That looks beautiful and I am becoming increasingly bothered about plastic and, most seriously of all ‘single use plastic’ and spend a lot of time working out how the hell I can avoid it. The fact this lovely bed is conscious right up to the packaging is a huge plus and this needs to be shouted from the roof tops. It’s SO cosy looking and a smaller one would go down a storm with my cats.
PS Cat Beds next??
THIs is such an amazing bed! I want to purchase this for Odin because it seems so cushy and comfortable!
What a cozy little bed! I’ve been looking for another bed for my pup to keep downstairs on the hard floor. I’ll have to check this one out – I think she’d love it!
Wow! That looks like one awesome comfy bed! My Huskies love to “nest” – dig all around and circle to get that perfect spot for sleeping in their beds or at foot of mine, and I think they’d love this bed! I’d love a human sized one!
Theo is SO cute! he looks so happy in his new bed. Our dog Molly is super picky and does not like most of the beds I have bought for her. Silly dog!
Aww his bed looks so soft and so comfy! My dog, Hashbrown, needs a new bed too and I’m definitely checking these out.
love the vibe in this room, especially the art
I bought my puppy a bed like this many years ago. She loved it so much and it kept her quite warm in the winter. It lasted a while, but eventually flattened out and got a hole in it. If I didn’t have so many dog beds, I’d get another one just like it. Great photos!
He looks so comfy! And your room is gorgeous.
This looks like a great bed. Theo loves it! Great review. And adorable photography
I love the simplicity of the neutral colour. That really could work for any room without standing out or looking out of place. I’m a HUGE fan of eco-friendly choices, and reading about this bed has me thinking that it might just be the solution for my cat. While my dogs have beds that they LOVE, Pippen has taken to curling up in our blankets creating her own little nest. I wonder if providing this would encourage her to sleep in her bed instead? Not that I mind her in the blankets, but I’ve almost sat on her far too many times lol
Theo looks really comfortable in his new bed. It almost looks like a snuggle type bed for anxiety, but with more room. My dog bounces between his snuggle bed and his bolster bed, which is a bit more roomy. I think he would really like this type of bed too. Besides, Theo’s endorsement is a great one!
Your dog looks so content in his new bed. My dog loves a pillow to rest her head on as well. I love that this bed is kind to the environment. Great review!
