9 Holiday Gift Ideas for Dog Lovers

The holidays are rapidly approaching, and while I tend to be a procrastinator, I’m shopping early this year.   I’ve rounded up some awesome holiday gift ideas for dog lovers for 2020.  All of these gifts can be purchased online, and many are from small businesses.

If there’s one thing I know about dog lovers, it is that their love for their dogs knows no bounds.  A sure way to make a dog lover happy is to give her something that shows you understand how much her dog means to her.

Velvet Collar 

Although it is not a necessity, every dog deserves a beautiful collar, like this green velvet one.  While the one Theo has is no longer being made, I found a similar one from the Foggy Dog.  These are handcrafted in San Francisco.  In addition to velvet collars, The Foggy Dog also carries collars in various patterns, including several plaid options.    They also sell face masks, bow ties, and lovely rope leashes.

Dog Treats

The way to a dog’s heart is through his stomach, so a bag of high-quality treats makes a great gift if your coworker has a dog.  Some of the brands my dogs love include Einstein Pets,  Newman’s Own Dog Biscuits, and Buddy Biscuits. Pack of Playing Cards

Thanks to the pandemic, most people are staying in.  A Pack of Dogs playing cards from Artiphany is sure to bring a smile during a game of solitaire or poker.  I’m thinking about different ways of displaying these cards. They are too cute to stay in a drawer in between games!
