I am always amazed and saddened by the number of dogs that are lost, abandoned or even thrown away. Today’s sweet pup was probably lost and could have had a tragic ending, but fortunately he was in the wrong place at the right time. Lacey Rablais sent in this adorable session of Ty, a tiny Yorkie who somehow ended up behind a dumpster.
His finders tried vigilantly to locate his family, but had no luck. After some time, they decided he was the perfect addition to their own family.
Its easy to see how Ty quickly worked his way into their hearts! Although Ty’s story has a happy ending, it also should serve as a reminder to make sure your pets are easily identifiable with tags and/or are microchipped!

As an owner of 2 yorkies, it breaks my heart that someone would ever let this sweet pup out of their sight. I’m so thankful that Ty found a great new home, and that face is just adorable. Great photos!!
It ticks me off the way people dispose of animals in this country, but we are a disposable society now. Glad this guy had a happy ending!
