One night my husband and I were talking about dogs from our childhoods and he told a funny story about his uncle’s Irish Setter. Thinking it would be fun to feature one I posted a submission request on Two Bright Lights. North Carolina photographer Jen Yuson sent me these photos of Nonie, a beautiful Irish Setter.
From Taylor: “Nonie is an Irish setter. She is nine years young. She is my mothers best friend! I’m one of five children and when my youngest brother went away to college we were worried about my mom. Nonie and my mom became each other’s constant companion. Nonie is a true southern lady! She hates to get dirty and even crosses her front legs when she sits! Her favorite activities are riding in the car, running on the beach, and taking naps out in the sun!”
