Maggie is a twelve year old Jack Russell Terrier who was photographed by Jennifer Stamps last summer.
The first time Jenn (Maggie’s human) saw her, Maggie was an 8 month old puppy: full of energy but malnourished and neglected and needed Jenn’s help. That kindness has been repaid in full as over the years, Maggie has been there for Jenn whenever she needed a friend.
Even though Maggie is 12, she is still crazy for her tennis ball. One of her nicknames is “Bottled Lightning”.
This last photo is my favorite. Jenn’s expression is so full of love while Maggie seems to say “Yeah, I live the good life!” You can see a lot more of Maggie on Jennifer’s blog.
