Ross, the dachshund, had been diagnosed with canine cancer. Luckily the plan was surgery to completely remove the cancer. On the downside his perfect nose would probably look a little different. So his humans called Lacey Rabalais to get some family portraits before the surgery.
I am happy to report that with the surgery behind him, Ross is back playing with Rusty and enjoying his life.
You can see more of Lacey’s work on her blog.

It’s with great sadness that I post this. Ross beat the oral melanoma and the surgery didn’t change his look a bit. However, this February he was diagnosed with lymphoma and passed away on Monday March 11th. He was 14 1/2. We will miss him dearly. I am so glad Lacey captured his spirit for us. WE just LOVE HER!!!
