Happy Tails: Lilian the Duck Tolling Retriever

I’m so happy to share the third model from Sarah McGraw, Dana Cubbage and Britt Croft’s  meet-up this year.  These awesome photographers have supported each other online for quite a while and finally met in person spending the day talking shop, getting to know each other and photographing four lucky dogs.  You can read more about their meet up and suggestions for other pet photographers growing a support system here.   Today I’m sharing Sarah’s photos of Lilian.

 From Sarah:  “A cute, wet, orange face with a huge smile was sent in an email and three girls instantly fell in love. No, it wasn’t a picture of some hot model guy coming out of the ocean with a fake tan. This is what happened when Brittani, Dana, and I got Lilian’s submission for our Charleston model call.  Lilian is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who apparently spends as much free time as possible getting wet and going swimming. Her mom was super excited at the thought of getting pictures of her when she was actually dry! Luckily for her, we were more than happy to oblige.  Lilian, aka Lily, often causes quite a stir when she’s out in public and people tend to flock to her because of her unique qualities. I’m personally a sucker for her happy smile and frilly feet.”

From  Amy:  “Lily is a three-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.  Lily was born and raised in South Carolina, and she’s a real Southern gal.  As assistant to the editor of  The Lovely Find, Lily’s days are pretty hectic!  She likes to unwind by jumping in the swimming pool repeatedly, collecting stuffed animals, and rolling over just for fun.  Lily’s favorite activity is snooping through  shopping bags for treats.”
