Here at the Daily Dog Tag, its all about dogs, the love they share with their humans and great photography. I’ve always been entranced with Shar-Peis and all their wrinkles. Words like “cute, quirky, adorable, comedic, unique” are words I would use to describe Shar-Peis normally. I am at a loss of words to describe these photos, except “WOW!” I’m crazy in love with this series by Emilee Fuss. These images just blew me away. The first photo reminds me of a dancer.
From Emilee: “Of all of the dogs I have photographed, I think Shar Peis are probably the best dogs for creative detail shots. I love zooming in on their unique faces, oodles of wrinkles, curly tails, and little triangle ears. Andy and Mona are the first full-blooded Shar Peis I have had the privilege of photographing. They were just six months old at the time of their shoot, and growing up fast! It can be difficult to distinguish between the two, but Andy is the lighter-colored boy and his sister Mona is a bit darker. Both of them were so much fun to photograph! I think they thought so, too–they were awesome models.
You can see more of these two and Emilee’s gorgeous photography on her blog.
