Happy Tail: Otis

I’m a huge fan of Jack Russell Terrier types: their small, muscular bodies combined with high intelligence and cute faces make great entertainers like Eddie, Uggie and Otis. Although not a celebrity, Otis has entertained his family for years. Otis was photographed by Zoe Grant of Andi Grant Photography.

Such concentration! I can’t decide if I love his expression or his shadow more in this photo.

These two found each other at just the right time. Recovering from the death of one dog, she wasn’t sure if she was ready for another dog. When he first saw her, Otis made a beeline to her and she was hooked. He helped her heal and they have been sidekicks for the last ten years.
