Charlotte photographer, Casey Hendrickson, loves the snow, and so do her two dogs, Chewie and Molly. However, when they have to be inside, they have a beautiful place to call home. Last fall they had a photo shoot to celebrate their new house. Chewie is a Golden Doodle, and Molly is a West Highland Terrier. I love the way their personalities shine through these photos.
From Casey: “As our life continues to grow, so does our love for our pups! As Chewie has grown into a giant lovebug, he definitely needed more space to run and be crazy.
We found the perfect home with a fenced yard and an adorable neighbor girl that is obsessed with cuddles from these two. Like any big moment in life, we did photos to celebrate this new chapter!”

Chewie reminds me of a stand up comedian in that second photo! I love how most of these photos are taken on light or white backgrounds. Whenever I try to photograph Ruby on light surfaces or Rosie on dark surfaces, they look washed out or just blend in.
Aren’t they gorgeous. The whole ambience is bright and positive and they smile all the time. The perfect happy dogs!
These two are just the cutest little duo! I love their beautiful white fur against all the light/white backdrops with only their neck-wear providing the pops of color. That looks great!
