Do you believe in love at first sight? When it comes to dogs, I sure do! It took just one photo of these Labradoodles for me to know that I was totally, madly in love with these dogs. I first spotted a single image from this session by Nicole Begley on her blog for pet photographers: Hair of the Dog. I’ve always been a fan of big shaggy dogs and these two are some of the cutest!
From Nicole: “I was looking for a few furry models last month to test out the new Canon 5D mk III and the Nikon D800, thankfully Ernie and Elmo’s mom was happy to help! In case any of you are interested in which camera won the heated head to head battle that day, it was the Canon 5D mk III. I was already shooting with Canon, but just had to test out both before really committing to stay with Canon before making any more big purchases. The mk III really is an incredible machine!”
Ernie and Elmo are two very active labradoodles, however Elmo (the grey one) is currently battling bone cancer. He was still full of energy during our session though! Ernie is just a young pup and around a year old….he definitely had energy! ”
I am keeping Elmo in my thoughts and prayers as he continues to fight bone cancer. Nicole offers special Tribute sessions for very elderly or dogs who are fighting a difficult disease. She donates a portion of the session fee to help support the Animal Care and Assistance Fund.
