A few months ago I featured one of my favorite sessions, Franklin the Pembroke Welsh Corgi by Anthony Helton of Purple Collar Pet Photography. Today I’m happy to share a few more photos of Franklin and his foster brother, Darwin. (Don’t get your hopes up, Darwin has already found his forever home.)
Franklin is the taller one on the left. Both are crazy adorable.
From Anthony: “Darwin is an earnest, expressive dog that loves to curl up on your feet when he’s not bounding through grass or chasing after his older brother. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with him.
The four of us spent a beautiful morning in a Sacramento park that could easily pass as doggy heaven; open fields, miles of trails winding through lush greenery, jackrabbits loping through the underbrush, and sandy beaches fronting a slow-moving river — all it was missing were treats (and we brought those in spades).”
You can see more of these two on Anthony’s pet photography blog. Great news for Franklin fans (and who isn’t?!?) The book Where”s Franklin? featuring new photos by Anthony is available for pre-order and will be released in August. 20% of the profits will be donated to CorgiPals.
If you are interested in getting better action shots of your dog, I highly recommend you read Anthony’s Thoughts on Capturing Action.
