Spring is the time for new beginnings, flowers, and baby animals. For one family, new beginnings include a brand new baby, a new job and a new hometown. Allison Mannella photographed Kristi, Jay, Birdie (Golden Retriever) and Ladis (Lab mix) last fall.
From Allison: “Jay graduated from Fuqua this past spring, then he and Kristi settled down and made Durham their home. But life threw in a little plot twist and they are currently in the process of relocating to Washington DC for Jay’s new job!
Not only that, but they are expecting their first bundle of joy in February! In the midst of all this – a temporary long distance relationship, needing to find a new home in DC, new jobs, and the impending arrival of one sweet baby – I couldn’t have been happier to document this moment in their lives! We explored the grounds around the Duke Chapel, where the beautiful colors of fall were in full display on the surrounding trees.”
You can see more of this happy family on Allison’s blog. I hope all these transitions have been easy and they are settling in well!
