It is easy to see why English Bulldog Hudson is a favorite muse for photographer Luke of Lone Pine Photography. However, Luke is quick to point out that Hudson’s heart belongs to Luke’s girlfriend.
From Luke: “I’ve known numerous dogs in my lifetime, and none are like Hudson. Hudson is almost 2 years old, and even though he’s an English Bulldog, his bark has a strong South Georgia accent rather than English. For fun, Hudson likes to get things he’s not supposed to have and tear around the house playing keep away.
Hudson is a great copilot and enjoys trips and dining around town, where at many restaurants the service staff know him by name.
Like most English Bulldogs, Hudson is stubborn in all things, such as staying asleep in the morning. He is also partial to pampering and prefers to be carried from the bed to outside for his first nature’s call of the day.
Regarding the breed in general, they’re wonderful family members and affection for them runs strong. They’re outgoing and very desirable dogs, so theft is a high probability if pet owners aren’t vigilant. They are also incredibly expensive animals because their breathing function and body style make them very susceptible to heat stroke, rashes, allergies, hip displasia, joint issues, and spinal issues. They’re a very affectionate, fun loving, loyal, but physically delicate breed.”
