The old saying “birds of a feather, flock together” certainly seems to be true when it comes to dog lovers. Almost all of Alice G Patterson’s clients love dogs as much as we do! Its such great fun to meet new people who share a common interest. One of Alice’s couples brought their two rescued Huskies to their engagement session. Not only were they dressed for the occasion, the dogs had special bakery treats to eat after their modeling session. Alice and I had so much fun photographing these awesome dogs and their equally terrific parents!
From their mom: “Sydney is 10 now, we got her when she was 6 from Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue. Apollo is just over two, and we got him at 9 months from Lucky Dog Rescue. I think he came from South Carolina. Sydney is the snuggliest dog ever! I love having adopted an older dog because she was already crate trained and basically just wants to snuggle all the time. She does howl though and it’s so funny! And Apollo is still a playful pup- we call him Chompsy because he looks at you and chomps his mouth together when he wants to play. It’s too funny. Syd is his definitely his mama bear. They cuddle all the time.
This dog loving person also volunteers her time transporting dogs for Paws to the Rescue. The dogs are transported from South Carolina to various rescues by volunteers. Follow their Facebook page, its a pretty amazing organization!
Be sure to check out Alice’s blog and Facebook page for more of her photography.

And because nothing is guaranteed to make me grin like seeing a dog with his head out of a car window (properly restrained of course), I had to share this video!

Such gorgeous dogs!
And a big thanks for the link to my post about faking service dogs. That was one that’s been percolating for quite a while.
