The first time I saw this photo by Elke Vogelsang of Wieselblitz my heart skipped a few beats. This incredibly handsome dog is one of Elke’s three dogs. This photo is titled “Pirate of the Baltic Sea.”
From Elke: “I got Ioli when he was 6 months old. His eye was swollen due to an abscess when he was only a few weeks old and it never healed. There was no other way than to remove the eyeball. When the infected eye was removed he changed a bit a nature, become much more active and happier. He is now a very happy and charming guy. Ioli can be really cheeky and perky. We love him to bits.”
