People tend to put a lot of thought and energy into a proposal, but typically there aren’t photos to preserve the memory. However, Tammy Swales was in cahoots with Gregg and set the stage to get a great shot of Ilana’s reaction.

From Ilana: “I work for a wonderful photographer one day she told me to come to work dressed for a pretend Photoshoot, little did I know that my soon to be fiancée was at home figuring out a way to attach an engagement ring to Dizzys collar. My first reaction when my two boys came in wearing bow ties and suits? “DIZZY!!!!” They both looked incredibly handsome, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget.

Gregg and I rescued Dizzy last summer, when he was just three months old. He came with the name, and the sweetest temperament. Dizzy is (most likely) a Flat Coated Retriever. He loves long walks, runs, bike rides, and snuggling with his family. Dizzy makes everyday so much more fun, and we’re so lucky he’s part of our family! We are a family. So it is no surprise that Dizzy helped Gregg propose to me. “
