As a second shooter, I’ve met a lot of AWESOME brides, but I’m not sure I’ve ever met one as laid back as Forrest on her wedding day. I love the spontaneity of this shot by Jen Yuson.
From Jen: “Best place on the day of a ceremony? Chillin’ on the wedding gown. Samson obviously thought that Forrest + Matthew’s day was HIS big day. Forrest, being the amazing gal that she is, just laughed it off. “
From Forrest: “Samson is a beautiful soul of a dog, he is cuddly (and fury), effervescent, and on a daily basis forgets that he is a dog. One thing he never doubts it’s that he is one of the family, he loves his daily duties of taking the kids to school, and tucking them in a night among many of his self imposed jobs. He is an Australian Shepherd and its four years old. On our wedding day, it was no different for Samson…..HE was part of the buzz with me and the bridesmaids. He just knew something fun was going on and just assumed he was to be the center of it all. As evidenced by him posing himself on my dress as the wedding hum grew louder and louder. Samson had always been my best friend since the moment I picked him up on the farm he was born, he came to life as my travel buddy and even more so since he is part of a family.”
