I love this adorable trio of bulldogs (2 French, one English) that were included in an autumn engagement session by Bouncing Light Photography. Meet Erma, Sawyer and Prada.
From Leigh : “When I first met with Rachael and Steve to discuss their wedding, it didn’t take long until the topic turned a different direction…dogs, and how much we love our pups! Rachael and Steve both work at a Veterinary Hospital and are the happy pet parents of 3 bulldogs: Sawyer, Prada, and Erma. The 6 of us met out at Hudson Springs Park, which provided numerous nooks for full family, as well as some romantic couple images. Gray skies prevailed, but the rain fortunately held off until the session was over.”
From Rachel: “I’ve had Prada and Sawyer since they were puppies, they are 5 and 4 years old. We are not sure how old Erma is, as she was a rescue. I found her in a shelter in Columbus and we adopted her because we fell in love with her, and then found out she was about to be euthanized. We have had her for just over a year, and found out she had bone cancer about 6 months ago. In addition to having her leg amputated, she has gone through 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 3 rounds of an experimental treatment at the University of Pennsylvania, and is still doing extremely well.”
We’ll keep sending good thoughts to Erma that she is cancer free! You can see more of this delightful session on Leigh’s blog.
