‘Brittany and Mike brought their English Bulldogs along for their engagement session with Allie Siarto & Co. Photography. Their dogs, Pam and Kirkland, came dressed for the occasion too.
From Allie: “Brittany and Mike wanted to incorporate their two dogs into their engagement photos (they’re a part of the family, after all!) So they brought Brittany’s sister, Kaylee, to a gorgeous herb garden to help make it happen.”
From Brittany: “Life with two English Bulldogs is fun, snuggly, and never ever boring. Our two bulldogs, Pam and Kirkland, are five years old and three years old, respectively. My now-husband and I got Pam when we were still in college. We were the family members that everyone teased for treating their dog like a child. Mike and I took her everywhere with us, dressed her up for Halloween, taught her how to unwrap her Christmas presents. The only difference between Pam and an actual baby were the diapers!
We fell so in love with Pam, that we wanted another one of her – so we knew we needed to get her a little brother to play with.
Two years later, Kirkland came along. We didn’t know a piece of our hearts were missing until Kirkland came into our family and filled that space. Now we have two dogs, that we still treat as though they are our actual children because let’s be honest…they are just as important to us as a human baby will ever be.
Whoever said ‘diamonds were girls’ best friend’ never had a dog.”

I love that the dogs were apart of their engagement story. When I got engaged both times, I never had photos done. Only on my wedding day. I didn’t have a dog though until after I got married and he is the best thing that happened to me.

Love the photo shoot they look a totally delightful couple and the dogs are the cutest thing ever!!
I need to say that, as someone who held a bulldog puppy at a pet expo a couple of years ago, those dogs are REALLY HEAVY. Even a puppy is like carrying bags of shopping half a mile up the street. Solid, dependable and totally gorgeous but no lightweight!
