Although engagement sessions weren’t common when I was engaged, I think they are something most couples should have. Of course, I am a huge fan of people who include their dogs in engagement photos. Thanks to Eileen K Photography for these photos of Rem the Australian Shepherd and Ellie May the Beagle (along with their humans.)
From Eileen: “Paige and Rob wanted a rustic, natural feel to their engagement photo shoot. They brought along their super cute pups who Paige got before she met Rob. They are now an adorable family of four!”
From Paige: “Eileen is so awesome and talented! My Australian Shepard is a boy, age five, and his name is Remington (Rem for short). My beagle is my girl, she is five as well, and her name is Ellie May.
Ellie is my quiet love. She has a very independent attitude and likes to lay in the sun, and her bed. I am her person, and Ellie is very loyal and sweet to me. She loves kids and gets that beagle bark going when she’s in a playful mood.
Rem, he is my charmer. I got him when he was two years old, and he loves attention, squirrels, and food. He’s a simple but very sweet boy.
He has a very happy go lucky attitude and loves learning tricks. He can shake, roll over, lay, sit, dance, ‘two paws,’ and loves to have his hair blow dried.
My dogs have always been my family, and in the past few years, we’ve welcomed my fiancé into the ‘pack.'”

What a lovely little family! Pics are better with pets in them – I agree.

Lovely family shot. I like the one where the Aussie is getting his belly rubbed. It’s funny how he likes getting his hair dried.

I’m with you. Back in the 70s, when I got engaged, we didn’t even include the future groom in the photo. I love including the fur children in the photos.

Love this engagement shoot. Very beautiful. I love how you capture the candid nose nuzzle with the engaged couple and the dog looking on. Too cute. My favorite engagement photos are always ones with pets in them. Nice work.
