You might remember I mentioned that people are pretty amazing when I featured Gaia earlier this week. Here’s some more photographic evidence of that. Keshia Kastl and her husband of Photos by Keshia spent a day in September documenting a sudsy event in Yukon, OK. The event, Pawsitively Pampered Dog Wash and Craft Fair was a successful fundraiser for a local no kill shelter, Pets and People. People and their dogs showed up for a good old-fashioned dog wash, complete with wading pools, lots of soap, hoses, and a whole lot of fun.
It is great to see a community come together and work for a common cause! You can see more of Keshia’s work on her Facebook page.
About Photos by Keshia: Based in Oklahoma City, Keshia is a wedding and portrait photographer. She specializes in on-location photography and loves to show her subjects being themselves in a beautiful way.
What a great fund raising idea. Love these photos, and that double leg lift has me laughing out loud!
That IS a great idea!
Nice images and nice ideas shared. I am sure dogs do feel pampered when they get washed by us. But do you know one thing? I feel great while washing these innocent animals. And it is for these four legged pets, I have joined a dog grooming center. I visit clients to provide mobile dog wash service. Isn’t it great?
