Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and I am especially grateful for the people who change the world in a positive way. Whether advocating for human or animal rights, there are many people who give their time, energy and/or money to make a difference. I’m thankful for all that they do! A few days ago I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when I found this beautiful and heart wrenching photo of adoptable dog Leotie. This gorgeous girl has been waiting too long for her forever home. Thanks to photographer Meghan Lawson of Two Red Dogs Photography for letting me share Leotie and hopefully help get her home. Leotie is currently being fostered through Project Buddy Rescue Ranch.
Hi! I’m Leotie! I am a beautiful bluenose pit bull girl that has been waiting at Project Buddy Rescue for family of my own for almost a whole year.
I am about a little over 2 years old, and love love love people…especially kids! I am on the more petite side, am kennel trained, and know lots of basic commands as well as commands such a “heel”, that make me wonderful to take on walks!! I am a very smart girl that has so much love to give! When I came up to the rescue I was very unhealthy…my foster mom says I was emaciated, and I had kennel cough as well! I am now totally healthy, spayed, up to date on all my shots, and ready to go home with you!
I would love for my family to be semi-active, and wouldn’t mind living with any age two-legged… I love the kids in my foster home. My foster mom says I have high prey drive, so a home without kitties, bunnies, and anything fun to chase is a must for me and I would be happiest in a house with no other dogs. I promise though, I have enough love to give that you won’t need anyone else!
If you are interested in more information or in meeting me please fill out an adoption application. I’ll be waiting!”
