There is something super romantic about an elopement, especially in a gorgeous setting with the dog in attendance. This one in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula from Brittany Hamann Photography checks all the boxes!
From Brittany: “Adrianne and Ken had an absolutely incredible elopement day! These two brought along one of their dogs, Loretta, who was so adventurous! She is adorable and also a much more graceful hiker than I am. 
We started the day by hiking to some waterfalls. Adrianne and Ken asked another couple hiking the trail if they would sign their marriage license as witnesses, and it turned out they were in the Upper Peninsula celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary! 
After the waterfalls, we hiked into a hidden beach that we had completely to ourselves. Adrianne and Ken exchanged vows with complete privacy. The sound of the waves drowned out their vows, so only the other heard them. It was beautiful and intimate and the absolute best way to get married.
After their vows, Adrianne and Ken popped some champagne, threw sticks for Loretta, and took a walk in the water.
I am so happy that I was able to be part of Adrianne and Ken’s day and capture their stunning elopement!”
From Adrianne: “We are very happy we decided to include Loretta in our elopement plans. I had seen other couples include their animals and thought it was a great idea. Especially since Loretta loves going for hikes! I absolutely love the pictures that we were able to get with her, and I know that we will treasure them for many years to come. She had an amazing time swimming and playing on the beach that day. We got her in March of 2021. She was about six months old on our wedding day. “
