Percy, the adorable Yorkie, joined his humans Vivian and Stephen for a fun photography session with Dennis from Charleston Photo Art last summer.
From Dennis: “We had a stunning photo session at Legare Street with Vivian and Stephen, and their Yorkie, Percy. This is the perfect location for a photo session with dogs.”
From Vivian: “I loved the book series Percy Jackson when I was in middle school and read them so many times. I had decided pretty early on that my first dog’s name would be ‘Percy’ even before we got him!
He turned four years old on November 16th. He is a pure Yorkie.
His favorite food is salmon!! I always cut and put aside a piece without seasoning when I cook, haha.
He really loves to play tug of war!!
We love taking Percy out with us to shop or eat on patios. He absolutely loves saying hi to people, so shopping downtown King ST is his FAVORITE.
We love taking him boating or shopping around downtown.
The best thing about Percy is his quirkiness. He has such a personality and makes us laugh all the time. He does the funniest things like takes our shower towels down from the rack to the floor and rubs his whole body in it like a worm.
The funniest memory is when we took him to the beach, and he jumped in the water, not realizing how deep it was. His face was MISERABLE and in SHOCK, but it was so so funny! The best memory is the day we got him. He was swaddled in a blue blanket like an infant and handed to us. He was so quiet and calm…RIGHT UNTIL WE TOOK HIM HOME!! Haha, he sure fooled us.
I think the best part of having a dog is the happiness they truly bring into your life. When he’s at the groomer and not there to greet me at the door, it’s actually quite sad. You never realize how much they have an impact on your life until they aren’t there (even if it’s a short time at the groomers or daycare.)
