Like so many of you, I love a handsome dog! Atlas, the Malamute Mix, and his favorite human, Sarah, had a gorgeous studio session with Aaron from Eye Wander Photo.
From Sarah: “Atlas is four-years-old. He is super friendly and cuddly. He LOVES people, attention, being petted. Very hyperactive – Needs a lot of exercise. Super strong – he usually walks me rather than the other way around. Smartest dog I’ve ever known. He has the memory of an elephant. Atlas remembers people, places, words, everything! I’ve never had a dog actually remember things the way Atlas does. He is my best friend, and I don’t know who I am without him.
I love my dog! Atlas is like a son to me, and every mother-son duo needs a photo session.
Anyone can take a nice photo of a dog outside in nature, but getting a good shot in a studio is a lot more impressive. We were able to do different sorts of lighting to create different moods – playful, moody, etc.
There were too many to choose a favorite! 
I think I really like the snuggly ones, laying on the floor because they show how close we are. My favorite thing is to snuggle with my big ole floofer, and I think those photos capture that!”

What a handsome and happy doggy. I often get malamutes confused with huskies but I can see some differences in these pics.

This is one of my dream dogs but I am afraid I cannot take such in my current apartment. They don’t want any pets around. I guess when I already find a new one. Looking forward to finally have one.
