Jack and Porter, the French Bulldogs, and their humans had a lifestyle family photo session with Caitlin Alohilani Photography in Pasadena, California. Although Jack and Porter would be adorable au naturel, their bow ties are the perfect accessory.
From Caitlin: “Jack and Porter are French Bulldog brothers from two litters born almost exactly a year apart. Jack is three years old, and Porter is two. They are both very friendly and affectionate, but with their own unique personalities.
Jack is a very observant and thoughtful dog. He tends to be very independent, and we sometimes joke that he acts like a cat. 
He will grab your hand with his paw and put it right where he wants to be scratched, and he will make himself right at home in the middle of the couch when you aren’t looking.
Porter is a bit more of a clown. He loves to wrestle with Jack and chase water bottles and ice cubes. When Porter isn’t running around, he is actually very snuggly and wants to be in physical contact with someone at all times. 
He is a very loyal companion and Lizzie and Jimmy think he looks a lot like a potato.
Last summer, Lizzie and Jimmy moved from coast to coast and drove the whole way. They were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the dogs adapted to life on the road.
They were so excited to explore new places and visit friends and family during the trip. Their new place has a long hallway, and watching Jack and Porter sprint enthusiastically to the door to greet them at the end of the day is the perfect welcome home!”
Although French Bulldogs are adorable, they often have a lot of health issues. Before adding one to your family, do your research to be certain the breeder is reputable or adopt one!

The health issues would keep me from owning any Bulldog, but they stop traffic when they are out walking.
Their fur babies are super adorable. Dogs are amazing creatures and most adapt easily to changes. I’ve moved twice with my Yorkie and at first I was worried. But as long as he has his pack, he is happy.

(0f course, describing Jack’s independent nature as “like a cat” does a disservice to cats who are just as loyal and bonded to their people as dogs. There’s even scientific studies that show it.)
