Senior portraits used to be a cookie cutter business. If you look at any yearbook from decades ago, you’re likely to see a lot of studio portraits of teens wearing their best outfit and the latest hairstyle. While those photos might be hilarious for future generations and heartwarming for the parents, the truth is, those photos don’t reflect the seniors themselves. Now lifestyle senior portraits are more popular than ever, and it is refreshing! It never fails to make me smile when seniors bring their dogs along for the pictures. Hayden Esau Photography was game when her client wanted to include all four of her dogs in her senior portrait session.
From Hayden: “When WyLee was planning her senior session, she knew one thing: she NEEDED to include her fur babies. All FOUR of them!”From WyLlee: “Chika is nine years old. She is our family’s favorite. When we got her, she was supposed to be a teacup chihuahua, but then she got bigger and bigger. We found out she is a pug chihuahua. She is the family dog that you would never wanna lose. I couldn’t have grown up without her.
Daisy is obsessed with outdoors; she loves going on adventures daily. After we lost our first dog Heidi, we needed a new best friend for Chika, and she is the perfect match. Also, the best part about Daisy is that her sister Mazi is my best friend Brooke’s dog. We both got them together, and that was really special.
Zeus is a German Shepherd mix and the biggest dog out of the four. He is also my first dog. Zeus is the most loving and loyal dog I have ever met. I watched him for months at metro, and on his adoption date, we finally made him ours. Anyone that meets Zeus is instantly in love with how handsome and sweet he is. He is one of a kind.
Zoey is a rescue also. She is a ball full of energy but is by far the cuddliest puppy I’ve met. Zoey always wants to play and go on walks. She is the baby of them all and the boss of the house. Zoey makes our family complete. She will always be my sweet hunny baby!”
