Engagement sessions are a great way for a couple (and their dog) to get to know their wedding photographer. Matt and Melissa had a summery engagement session in Annapolis, Maryland with Rachel Smith Photography.
From Rachel: “Matt and Melissa were married last June. Tucker is a very special part of their family. So it was a no brainer to have him as part of the engagement photo session! Their engagement shoot took place in the Annapolis, Maryland, area.”
From Tucker: “I am a black lab mix, and my parents adopted me from Save A Lab Rescue in 2013. Don’t let the grey hair fool you. I turned six years old last February. I am just mature for my age! My hobbies include playing tag with other animals such as deer, cats, and squirrels (SQUIRREL!!) – they don’t seem to like the game as much as I do, though – howling at sirens, and de-stuffing toys as fast as Mom and Dad can buy them.
Mom and Dad have told me that I am the protector of the house. I keep them safe from dangers such as the dreaded vacuum and balloons. Speaking of vacuums, I am the #1 kitchen floor cleaner on the market – anything that falls from the counter, I’m on it! I even eat all my vegetables at dinner time, and I especially love it when Mom lets an extra carrot roll off the counter.
I follow Mom and Dad everywhere when they go upstairs I go upstairs, when they go to the bathroom I check on them to make sure everything is okay. Sometimes I get confused because they call me Shadow instead of Tucker, but I do not get it. When they leave the house I am so excited to see them when they get home, whether they’re at work all day or just walking to the mailbox, I greet them with happy barks, a waggy tail, and unlimited kisses every time! I am glad my daddy and mommy adopted me and provided me with a loving home. “
