You might recognize this happy Golden Retriever pup from his magical Christmas card photo. Ovi and his family joined Tammy Klepac Photography last fall in Grapevine, Texas.
From Tammy: “Meet Ovi, a six-month-old, Golden Retriever, named after the hockey player Alexander Ovechkin! Ovi’s ‘hudad’ and ‘humom’ (as they refer to themselves) are huge hockey fans so it is only natural that the newest member of their family is named after one of the best in the sport.
To celebrate Ovi’s first Christmas, his parents arranged for a special Christmas photo shoot. Ovi has his own Instagram account strutting his cute dogginess and modeling the latest in canine fashion for all his fans.
According to Ovi’s humom, Ovi’s first Christmas wish is to have his name engraved on the ‘Stanley Pup!’ Ovi’s second Christmas wish will come true in January when his human parents tie the knot and their little family will all have the same last name!” 
From Ovi’s humom: “It was a very special session this year due to the newest member of our family (who is very good at giving furry hugs and wet nose kisses). 
My favorite picture is the one where we’re (mom and dad) looking down at Ovi while he poses for the camera. I’ve said it many times, and I’ll keep saying it: there is no love like a dog’s love. Some might think it’s silly, but our furbaby is so special to us.”

These photos are adorable! Ovi is such a good boy to strike all those poses for the camera, too 🙂 We’re thinking of doing a family photoshoot with our new puppy this year and this gives me some great ideas.
These photos are absolutely everything. We have a golden retriever, too. Of course, we love her endlessly, but we didn’t have her when we got engaged. Otherwise, we SO would have had her in all the photos. I love everything about this. And you’re right, there is NO love like a dog’s love. I’ll stand by that every day until the end of time.
I LOVE people who clearly think of their pets as part of the family and include them in things such as photoshoots. My pets will DEFINITELY make an appearance in my engagement photoshoot!
I adore Golden Retriever! They are such a friendly and warm breed. Always taking care of you and making sure you’re happy around them.
