Happy Tails: Nash the Mixed Breed

Sometimes I have to put a tissue alert at the top of a post, but I think maybe a squeal alert is needed for this post.

It always makes me happy to see photos of a well-loved pet, but it is especially great when the person is a professional photographer. Photographer Delaney Dobson adopted Nash, the adorable mixed breed puppy in 2017.   All of that cuteness eventually transformed into a very handsome dog.

From Delaney: “Nash is a rambunctious rescue who loves to cuddle and play fetch with his mom and dad. He is an only puppy with a true ‘mutt’ nature. According to his little DNA test, Nash is part Lab, American Staffordshire Terrier,  Parson Russell Terrier and 25% unknown! But they claim that he is a Herding Terrier Hound…I think that is a pretty accurate sum up of our little man. Born of Thanksgiving Day, Nash will eat anything, whether it be daddy’s work shoes or mama’s bath towels. He celebrated his first birthday this November with a little turkey and mashed potato pie (dog-friendly of course!)  My hubby and I have had him about a year, and it has been a wonderful process watching him grow and learn. He’s no longer the seven-pound puppy he was and has reached almost 50 pounds, much more than originally thought. He’s healthy, happy, and loves to play.  We got him as a puppy and had an amazing experience with WAGS. The company works solely with volunteer foster families, so no doggie is left in a kennel.”
