From Martina: “Zara is a German Shepherd mix. Zara’s previous owner had her since she was ten months old and kept her tied to a chair all day because he had no space. Neighbors complained about the situation, and he finally decided to give Zara away for adoption. D immediately offered Zara a forever and loving home with his parents. She was mischievous in the beginning, but all the family was very patient with her. Zara has grown to be a very loving dog and is now 13 years old and struggling with a tumor. She is a true warrior and has become the family’s favorite and most spoiled doggy.
Then came Gaia. The white dog that appears in the images, which we don’t know the breed. She was rescued as a pup from the street, and in the beginning, Zara was not happy with her. However, they grew fond of each other and now are inseparable. Gaia & Zara live with D’s parents.
D then adopted Whisky, the dog that appears in the rest of the night shots. Whiskey was adopted from a shelter and is a Yorkshire and short-haired fox terrier mix. He was adopted when he was two years old. Whisky was the smallest dog in the family and therefore constantly bullied. He was very insecure at first. But thanks to D’s unconditional love and company, Whisky is now more confident, loving and goes everywhere with his humans.”

Not the typical engagement photos you tend to see, and that’s why I love their uniqueness!! The scenery is stunning as you would expect, you can feel the happiness of this couple through the images, and the kindness to have rescued these dogs and given them a loving home. A very special story indeed.
