Orlando photographer, Haleigh Nicole, sent in this cute graduation session of Brielle and her dog, Casey, the Australian Shepherd. Casey showed his school spirit by wearing a bandana with the school mascot on it.
From Haleigh: “Brielle started at the University of Central Florida in August of 2016 for her Elementary Education degree. A few days after starting her degree, Brielle and her boyfriend, Kenny, got Casey, a mini Australian Shepherd! Casey has been along for her entire educational journey, and it was only fitting to have him in her graduation photos! Casey was such a cutie and rocking his UCF bandana. He even winked at us during his photos! Such a model. Brielle graduated in August.”
From Brielle: “My boyfriend and I adopted Casey just as I was starting a new chapter as a college student at the University of Central Florida. Through that journey, I learned so much about myself and what it takes to be a dog mom. Casey isn’t only my best dog pal, but he is undoubtedly loyal, sweet, cuddly, and smart.
He makes my life more fulfilling and always helps me remember to slow down and enjoy the little things in life, like cherishing the outdoors and showing kindness to those around us.”

I love Casey’s wink! Ruby winks sometimes in photos, too. Casey has absolutely gorgeous coloring and looks like he is a real support to Brielle!
Aussies are so sweet and wonderful. We used to meet one on our walks with Jasmine and Bruin; both out dogs loved him. He played differently with each of them, knowing what they like.
Casey looks like such a happy boy! He’s a beautiful dog, too!

These are wonderful photos! Great idea to have Casey in her graduation photos. Casey deserves to be in the limelight, I’m sure he was very helpful in reducing his student mom’s stress levels during exams! My therapy dog Icy and I participate in stress buster events at local colleges to help reduce their stress levels.
