If you were lucky enough to grow up a dog, you know how special that bond is. It makes me happy when a photographer is open to a dog friendly senior portrait session. These two beauties grew up together. Suri is an eleven-year-old Samoyed and joined Autumn’s senior portrait session with Kayla Lee Photography.
From Autumn’s mom: Suri just turned eleven on March 21st. We got her when she was 10 weeks old. She has champion Samoyed bloodlines. Her parents and grandparents have all been show dogs that have won championships. We did not want to show her, we just wanted a pet, and she’s just a beautiful addition to our family.
She is a very beautiful soul. She’s very kind, loves everyone; therefore she does not make a good guard dog.
Suri is quite the hostess. When we have company over, she likes to bring people things. She will bring her rawhide bone (which is her favorite treat), apples or at times has even brought our guests a piece of cardboard! She loves to get petted and also loves to have her paws held. Additionally, she loves hiking and boat rides! Overall, Suri is just a sweetheart through and through!”

I never wanted any of my dogs to be a guard dog. I’d rather guard them instead of them getting hurt. Now, they clearly would, but that is not why I have them or what I require of them.
Beautiful photos as always.

Beautiful photos. My little terrier has decided he’s a guard dog when the door bell rings. Not much I can do about it and in fact, am ok with it. People are less afraid because he isn’t big. People are dumb.

Suri is beautiful and takes such great photos! I bet she is a guard dog just because her size is a deterrent!

Suri is absolutely stunning! What a great personality too, I love that she brings little gifts to her guests, LOL! These photos are so lovely, you can see the bond these two share.

Stunning photos as always. Such a pretty breed and girl. Just love the bond she captured and the light that is so lovely on both. Kilo the Pug thinks he is a big guard dog.
