It has been nearly three years since Theo came home from the shelter. Ever since day one, he’s been the perfect dog for us (which is different than being a perfect dog.)
He makes us laugh every day; he’s always ready for a good snuggle, a swim, or a game of tug. But I’m pretty sure his favorite parts of the day involve food. In addition to breakfast and dinner in his puzzle toys, Theo gets treats throughout the day. I insist on high quality, made in the USA treats for my dogs.

I am so PROUD of him for being able to do it for this shot, with those treats! However, once Theo heard me say “Okay,” those treats disappeared!

I’m very surprised he was able to wait for these photos! We had corgis growing up and they never could wait for food. HAHA.
I was so proud of him because he has had some food issues in the past. He was a greedy eater. He’s come a long way, and he loved the treats.

Theo is ADORABLE and those treats look delicious! Henry is similar: his world revolves around food. Theo is such a good dog to wait (and that tongue shot after is perfect!) So cute!
I think I also tweeted this… fortunately my Victor is picky and that includes treats. So he only eats the good ones and weight is not an issue..

They look delicious! I love the wording ‘the perfect dog for us, not the perfect dog.’ Darling.
Theo is so cute and he sounds a lot like Kilo the Pug. Very food motivated so wait was a hard behaviour to learn and OK means GONE. The Nudges Treats look and sound yummy and good quality. Kilo would love them.

What a handsome and jovial boy Theo is! I LOVE him! You both hit the jackput three years ago, I think.:) I know my dogs would not be able to sit with those treats so close and not eat them, much less smile so big. They’d be gone!
What wonderful photos!! Theo’s little bandana looked like a bib for a pooch ready to dig into that skillet for his snacks!! Rugby sometimes guards around food, so I can’t always get those kind of cute photos!!

I adore how you photographed them in the cast iron. I think we’ve had these treats once when the dogs were younger, they made excellent high value rewards. And they’re one of the very few treats from Walmart that I trust! Glad you covered how they’re made without fillers!
I have never lost a dog but I have found one! Our neighbors lost their sweet dog last year and the neighborhood collectively looked for and found him!
Yes, I have lost my dog baby and he was never found. it was horrible.
